It's a little more delicate than some of the other cat-themed jewelry I have, which I appreciate. It has four stones -- two purple ones that make up the cat's body and head, and two small clear ones for the ears. All are securely fastened in place by prongs, so the light really shines through the purple stones (because there's no solid metal behind them). The purple stones are wonderfully faceted and the clear ones provide just a touch of sparkle.
Not much of the metal plating is showing, but what you can see is good quality for this price point. I am a fan of the chain. I do not normally like box chains, but this one is small and delicate and doesn't kink easily. I like the way it reflects light, as well. It has a standard spring ring clasp and is not adjustable. (You can always get an extender, though, or replace the chain.) There is a stamp near the clasp that says 925 and "Italy," for what it's worth.
This is pretty lightweight, as well, so it does tend to move a bit. 4.5 stars.Product provided by the seller for evaluation purposes.
